Patricia Ann (Pam) Page
1934 – 2009

Pam Page was a great friend and supporter of Skål Guernsey – in fact, she was made an honorary member here long before she was given the same accolade in her native Jersey.

Pam worked in the hotel business, firstly in accounts and, later, stock-taking – a service she provided to many Jersey hotels. She also did travel agency work and, after meeting her husband-to-be Eddie, they set up together in the wine trade. Sadly for Pam, she lost her beloved spouse after ten years of an extremely happy marriage. Neither had family and so Skål became Pam’s. She continued her enthusiasm for the grape long after she retired and loved to travel and meet friends all over the world.

Here, in Guernsey, she attended several functions a year and features heavily in the Club’s photo album. She was always smiling and you could hear her infectious laughter across a crowded room. She lived life to the full, loved good food, good wine and, above all, her many friends.

She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Every time Skål Guernsey members raise a glass, we will think of Pam.
